Last night, 2020 Democrats who qualified to appear on the sixth debate stage convened with one another before the public. During this time, the left-wing candidates discussed a series of political matters from race, climate change, the economy, immigration, and more. Of course, there was an overabundance of debunked, leftist talking points, but that’s par for the course in a Democrat, presidential debate.
However, 2020 candidate Andrew Yang made an interesting point. The entrepreneur stated that the Democrat Party must relinquish the “obsession” with impeachment, as documented by Breitbart News. Yang also went on to state that the American people “can’t agree” on impeachment and Democrats would be better off focusing their energies in other directions.

Last night’s comments about impeachment are not exactly new for Yang. Earlier this month, the 2020 Democrat explained that while he’s “pro-impeachment,” he ultimately believes that attempting to impeach the president will “be a loser.”
Why Yang Believes Impeachment Will Backfire on Democrats
In a nutshell, Yang made the case that impeachment is too inherently divisive. The Democrat candidate explained that Americans “can’t agree” on whether to support or oppose impeachment. Yang then went on to note that the combination of Americans failing to agree on “basic facts” and obtaining news information from “different sources” is why differences are so great.
In a continuation from these points, the 2020 Democrat furthermore explained that members of his party are failing to understand why Trump won the 2016 election. This comes as seemingly veiled censure of his in-party opponents who have done everything possible to delegitimize Trump’s victory and those who voted for him.
Yang ultimately cited the loss of manufacturing jobs as one of the reasons for Trump’s win; shortly thereafter, he also explained to everyone that “Russia, racism, Facebook, Hillary Clinton, and emails” are not the reasons that Trump is currently president.
Where Other 2020 Democrats Stand on Impeachment
With the exception of candidates like Andrew Yang and Tulsi Gabbard, the vast majority of 2020 Democrats rabidly foam at the mouth during any mere mention of impeaching President Trump. By far, the worst of the bunch are Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, and Elizabeth Warren.

Each of these candidates, along with others, blindly spends their time slandering the president with “ist” and “obia” labels and senselessly calling for impeachment. The reality is that Trump will not be removed from office with a GOP majority Senate. Everyone knows this, even the Democrats, which is why Speaker Pelosi is presently refusing to even transfer the impeachment articles over the Senate for a trial.
