Flight Attendant Faces FBI Probe After Trump Kill Post Goes Viral

A Southwest Airlines flight attendant called for President Trump’s assassination on social media after a gunman breached the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, sparking outrage and an internal investigation by the airline.

The Social Media Posts

Michele Carpino posted on Facebook minutes after news broke that Cole Allen stormed the annual Washington press event. “Oh please sweet baby Jesus,” Carpino wrote in the now-deleted post, “WE NEED BETTER ASSASSIN’S!” The message appeared after Secret Service agents stopped Allen at the venue. Libs of TikTok first reported the disturbing comments, which have since drawn widespread condemnation from passengers and social media users alike.

Pattern of Disturbing Content

Carpino’s social media history reveals a troubling pattern of anti-Trump rhetoric. On July 10, 2024, just three days before the Butler, Pennsylvania assassination attempt, she posted: “One day we will wake up to his obituary.” Another post uncovered by investigators featured the phrase “86 47,” using restaurant terminology for discarding items. The number 86 typically means removal, while 47 references Trump as the 47th president. Former FBI Director James Comey faced federal indictment on April 28 after posting similar coded language on May 15, 2025. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche called such posts illegal threats against the president’s life.

Southwest Airlines Responds

The airline confirmed Carpino worked as a flight attendant for ten years according to her LinkedIn profile. Southwest issued a statement acknowledging awareness of the posts. “We are addressing the situation,” a spokesperson told reporters. “While we don’t comment on personnel matters, this content does not reflect our values and we take it seriously.” Passengers expressed concern about flying with crew members who hold such extreme views. One social media user wrote to Southwest: “Sure wouldn’t feel comfortable with her taking care of myself or my family. Do better watching socials and hiring.”

Security Concerns Mount

The incident raises questions about employee screening procedures at major airlines and corporations. Federal authorities continue investigating threats against President Trump following multiple security breaches in recent months. The White House Correspondents’ Dinner breach marked the latest in a series of concerning incidents targeting the president. Carpino could not be reached for comment regarding her employment status or the controversial posts. Southwest has not disclosed what disciplinary action, if any, will be taken against the longtime employee.

  1. I’m about sick to death of these ill-bred, brainwashed people thinking this is a normal and acceptable way to act. Their parents and/or teachers did them no favors by not teaching them there are consequences for bad behavior.
